- Hon uju kingsley Chima's Rugged approach to this issue on the floor of the House made it possible for such public hearing to take place and for sure he showed his anger towards the oil companies abandonment of the host communities in his constituency by scolding shell and NPDC on the issue of not meeting up with their promises of;
- Electricity in Awara
- the Roads in his constituency.
He also talked about the careless abandonment and their mean attitude towards the victims of the fire incident in etekwuru and the oil spilage in egbema west destroying farm lands and homes.He charged them on their coperate responsibility to the people of his constituency and reminded them that they owe the people of constituency effective and sustainable human and infastructural development.He further charged the rest of the oil companies to keep to all their promises and responsibilities to the people of his constituency,he made them to understand that improving the lives of his constituency will inturn improve the relationship between the oil companies and the host communities in his constituency which will bring lasting peace.and where there is peace there is surely progress. With this Public hearing fueled by the efforts of Hon Uju Kingsley Chima there is surly a bright light at the end of the dark tunnel and peace restored between the communities and the oil companies.
